APPEARANCE: Lee is a pretty girl. Standing at five feet four inches, she's an average height, though sometimes she wishes she was a little bit taller. That way, she might seem just a little more intimidating. Her eyes are a pale blue colour that, for some reason, have always made her good at getting what she wants. It's hard for anyone to say no to her once she's turned on her 'sad' face. Her hair, long and dark, is one of her favourite things. Experimenting with different hair-and-makeup styles always keeps her entertained. One thing she wouldn't ever consider doing is getting her hair cut. She's far too attached to it to do that.

DISLIKES: swimming, water, rice crackers, her parents, reading, being told not to act childish, school, email
STRENGTHS: nice, fun, usually happy, in control of shifting
WEAKNESSES: dislikes reading and school, has some issues with authority, gets defensive, protective of her brother
FEARS: water - she almost drowned when she was younger, her brother getting hurt
BEHAVIORAL QUALITY: unending amounts of energy, friendly
PERSONALITY: The main difference between Lee and her brother is that she’s happy and pretty much all the time, not just in the late afternoon and evening. Optimism is one of her favourite things, because really, who would rather be sad and negative? Not Lee, that’s for sure. No matter where she’s been, Lee’s joyful attitude has always drawn people to her. If you’re ever looking for a pep talk or a shoulder to cry on, she’s a very good choice of person to turn to.
Some people learn from their mistakes; you’re wise if you do. With experience comes the potential to gain wisdom, to become more knowledgeable and intelligent. Every time you do something - whether on purpose or by accident, subconscious or after thinking about it long and hard, smart or not - you have to opportunity to be taught by the world. Whether you embrace this opportunity is entirely your decision. Though Lee has tried time and time again in the past, she never really figured out how to gain anything from the many blunders she has made. Some find this trait - or rather, the way she still seems shocked when something doesn’t go right the second or third time she’s tried it - endearing in an odd little way; others find it unflattering and irritating. Lee doesn’t understand how she keeps messing up in the same situations, and she never learns from them.
Another quality that Lee possesses is her almost always happy mood. She floats through life with a smile on her face. Anger comes slowly to her - patronizing comments are the worst in her mind, but rude comments she can put up with. Because of this flexibility, it’s very easy for her to get along with other people, and them with her. She’s usually up for anything: a walk in the park, a swim at the beach, a run through town, causing trouble for cantankerous elderly people. In a way, she almost changes herself to suit the needs of the people she is around.
Maybe that’s why she dislikes parties so much: one of the only things she dislikes, Lee can’t stand parties. Perhaps it’s because there’s too many people to keep up with, too many people to shape herself to suit their personalities. Some people’s personalities were a stone - completely unmoving and solid. Her’s is not like that - it can change in a moment, but at the same time it can only stretch so far before it’s too much for her.

[/b] jj and nathanielHigh school was, and forever would be, the weirdest, most annoying and yet most fulfilling place Faith ever had and ever would be. Alone, and friendless, sitting in the corner while watching everyone else happily chatter away with their friends made it a scary and frightening setting to be in the middle of. Unfortunately, that was the blonde vampire’s current situation. At the same time, friends made school worth it. Just having someone to spend time with, to know that you weren’t out on your own kept you sane throughout the four years of grade nine through twelve. A new town or city always meant the same thing to Faith: she had to forget everything that was left behind; she had to build herself a new life with new friends and new enemies. And then, she would leave them behind in four or five years again. As an immortal being, you were required to make sacrifices. Faith didn’t ask to be what she was; she still suffered to keep her identity a secret.for,
Now, in London, England, Faith was sitting awkwardly in the school cafeteria. The few other students who had just started attending that particular school that year had either found themselves a group of people to hang out with or were parked at their own tables, bodies rigid, watching their food and glancing up every once and again. When they caught someone’s eyes, they returned their own to their tray. Faith wasn’t like them, however. Wisdom came hand and hand with experience; or perhaps she just hardened over time. If, once upon a time, any foul rumors about her had hurt her like a knife being driven into her body, at the present they hurt like a simple pin-prick or a weak pinch. Blocking out the pain entirely was hard, like any emotion, but it mattered less and less as time wore on.
She couldn’t help but survey the room, watching for anyone who already was acting hostile, anyone who seemed interested in getting to know her. Perhaps it was the attention she was giving to everyone else that made her miss the footsteps of the redhead who approached her, smiled, and sat down across from her. “Hello,” the girl’s voice was quiet and friendly, musical almost, and it caught Faith’s attention almost immediately. “I’m Zoey,” she introduced. “And you’re Faith.” Faith raised her eyebrows, how did this girl already know her name? Did news spread as quick as wildfire in this school? That made it all the more tiring, and all the more interesting at once. It meant that she would have to be even more quiet that usual to keep prodding, curious minds from digging deeply into her life, but she would get to listen to scandal after scandal involving the students of the school. She may have been way too old to be in grade nine, she may have been a supernatural creature, but she was still a girl--and most girls enjoyed gossip. Faith, although out of the ordinary, was no exception.
“I am,” Faith allowed a smile to creep across her face, and she pulled her hands from where they had lay on the hard, cold table to rest in her lap as she watched Zoey carefully. Zoey’s face was square shaped with harsh edges but also with soft, glowing hazel eyes that seemed extremely contradictory. Faith could see her as a mother someday, strict, but very much loving and kind. That thought made Faith’s lips twitch and she fought to keep her expression a happy one. Having a child or multiple children was something that most people thought about at some point, once again she was no exception. She wanted to have a child, to have someone to love and care about . . .
Zoey nodded a bit and took a breath, it was around then that Faith was drawn from her thoughts and realized that Zoey was nervous despite her quietly confident demeanor. “You’re new?” she words almost spluttered out of Zoey’s mouth, a bit of a mess and a bit confusing. “I am.” Faith smiled wider, but not in a creepy way. She was pleased.
“Do you want to sit here?” the blonde vampire asked. “I haven’t really made friends, yet.” Zoey nodded.
“It’s alright,” the words followed by his nod were like a trigger; Faith felt her shoulders relax just a bit and she loosened her fingers from where they had laced together on her lap. She nodded, too, and smiled just a bit. “I’m Emmett. Nathaniel Emmett. But you can call me Nate.” The slight awkwardness of the way the statement was shoved together reminded Faith very much so of Zoey, a girl she remembered from a city she had lived in quite a while ago. Zoey had been smart, and confident, but sometimes the words she spoke were a little muddled by brief moments of self-doubt. Although this stranger didn’t necessarily suffer from the same lapses in confidence, the memory that the introduction brought was a nice one, and her smile only widened as she remembered her red-haired friend. And then it was quiet. There wasn’t much more to say, in Faith’s opinion, without starting a conversation in an inconvenient or cumbersome manner, and so she opted to stay silent. As the anger and embarrassment from moments before began to wear away, Faith’s mind began to remind her that humans were food, and she took a few seconds to shove thoughts of hunting for prey from her mind as something to do later. It was a skill she had gotten fairly good at over the years.
Then a familiar face stepped over towards Faith and her new acquaintance. “Hey Faith. Didn’t think I’d see you so soon. What’s up?” Faith glanced up towards the boy who had clumsily dropped an acorn on her head the other day as she innocently sat on a park bench. Of course, after she had snapped at him for doing so, she wasn’t so innocent. Was that a pattern for her? Being a bitch to every person who happened to irritate her in the slightest way? Well, no matter the answer, Faith knew that in both situations so far in Bedfordshire, she had made things right and apologized. Just as she was going to answer JJ, he turned to Nate. “….Nate, right? Sorry if I got it wrong, I don’t think we’ve ever been introduced, but I think I’ve seen you around school. I’m Jackson.” Faith smiled, she was happy to know that she knew two faces now, in Bedfordshire. And one of them, Jackson, knew hers as well. “Why aren’t the both of you in school? And before you go asking me the same question,” Faith shut her mouth that had opened to point out that he wasn’t in school either, “my mom dragged me here to go shopping because she’s a crazy lunatic.” A laugh caught Faith’s attention, and she looked up at Nate. He had a nice smile, she noticed, his teeth were all straight and white and perfect.
She hated that word. Perfect.
“I’m just going to be honest. I didn’t feel like going to school today, so I just ditched. And don’t worry, my Mum is a lunatic just as well.” Perhaps it was her secret longing to someday be a mother, but Faith had to bit the inside of her cheek to keep from scolding Nate. Ditching? Honestly. She had a long, long time to live and to re-do high school. He was human, he didn’t. And although hopefully it stayed that way, she wished that he wouldn’t ditch. She didn’t know him very well, but she knew that people in general suffered for mistakes they made as teenagers, and she wished it wasn’t true.
Instead, she continued to smile, though it was a little more forced now. “My mom hasn’t registered me for school yet,” as far as the residents of Bedfordshire were concerned, Faith’s mother was wheelchair-bound and her father had left when she was very, very young. “And I left most of my clothes and stuff back home. So, shopping is in order.” She raised her eyebrows and her expression turned wry. Shopping, after so many years, was just not that interesting anymore.
